What are some great horse TV shows?

Updated: Sep 26, 2020

I love horse stuff. Horse shirts, horse backpacks, horse shaped cookies, anything with horses in them. And I love horse TV shows. But if you have ever scrolled through your TV looking for horse TV shows you have probably have no luck. Like me. However if you go into the deep depths of your TV there will be a couple horse TV shows. I'm here to show you them.

Free Rein

If you like horse obsessed characters, TONS of drama, and a little bit of romance then free reins the show for you. Free Rein's on Netflix and is completely free. I loved it so much that I finished the whole 3 seasons in a week! One of the main reasons why I decided to go with the show is because one of my favorite actors, Navia Robinson plays Rosie. It is a great show and you should totally watch it.

I haven't watched Spirit for about like, 2 years but I remember that when I was watching it I really liked it. There is lots of mystery and a bit of drama. This show is great for kids of any age. I really liked it and I hope you guys will too.

Pony sitters Club

This one I haven't watched yet. It looks good, so I might watch it. Common sense media rated it ages 5+ but the people rated it 9+. I don't know how I feel about this one. It looks good but I don't know if it would appeal to me.

Heartland on Netflix is based off of the novel by Lauren Brooke. The show follows sisters Amy and Lou Fleming as well as their grandpa. Together they go through life living on a ranch, ups and downs.

If you are a Yellowstone fan then you probably know who Amberley Snyder is. If you don't, Amberley is a rodeo master. Along side her horse Power they compete in barrel racing and love it. One day Amberley is on the rode and her car swerves and flips over down the edge of the rode. She wasn't wearing her seat belt so she gets flung out of the car and hits a fence, causing her spine to be paralyzed. The movie is based on a true story, about a girl who finds a way to ride even though she is paralyzed. I have watched this and I think this is a great show for any age.

Believe it or not, Netflix has a lot of horse shows. Just type in horse and a bunch of movies will pop up.

There are so many good horse movies out there but you just have to know where to find them. Don't give up hope if you can't find any. xx The Desert Rider
